Featuring a company of 13 dancers, 24 Palms navigates the systems of the human body through their structures, functions, and harmonies. Even in dysfunction, the human body is so complete in design that these systems are able to survive in a state of careful—but powerful—coordination.
Drawing inspiration from Leonardo Da Vinci's "Vitruvian Man," in which the ideal proportions of a human are presented in a balance of art and science, 24 Palms explores the scientific knowledge we have attained while marveling at the universe that exists within each of us.
